A. The PortMaster 4’s ComOS operating system supports a wide variety of IP routing and WAN protocols. IP routes can be configured statically or learned through dynamic routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF and BGP4. Flexible WAN options include dial-in (Modem and ISDN B channel), channelized T1/E1, ISDN PRI, leased line (FT1/CE1), frame relay and channelized T3/E3. The PortMaster 4 also provides comprehensive support for Novell wide area networking, including support for Novell IPX/SPX, as well as RIP for dynamic routing table updates.
