What properties are available for sale or lease?
At present, there are two county-owned industrial parks within Campbell County. The Dearing Ford Business & Manufacturing Center is located off US Route 29 near Altavista. The Brookneal Industrial Park is located on US Route 501 near Brookneal. We are also working on a joint venture with the City of Lynchburg on a Joint Airport Industrial Park located near the Lynchburg Regional Airport and US Routes 460 and 29. There are also a number of other privately owned industrial parks, such as the Spring Hill Industrial Park, the Simpson Tract, the Progress Park and Airpark 460. In addition, there is building space available for sale or lease. The former Lane Company buildings (approximately 1,000,000 square feet) are privately owned and being subdivided for lease.
