Ans: Seeing the technological developments across the world and the benefits of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), we at Cyber Infodev Pvt. Ltd. thought of making the best of this opportunity. In fact, the Government of India has already taken various initiatives to bring e-governance revolution to India. The first step taken by Cyber Infodev Pvt. Ltd. in this direction was way back in 2000 through a project called ‘Gyandoot’ in Madhya Pradesh. The success of this project gave impetus to Cyber Infodev Pvt. Ltd. to delve deeper into the ocean of e-governance. After a detailed study of the market conditions and the structure of government functioning, a separate product division was carved out of the then structure of the company. Thus, a division called ‘Neev’ was formed that is dedicated to providing solutions for e-governance.
