What progress has been made to create a Redevelopment Plan?
The City held two public workshops in February 2008. A proposed Redevelopment Plan has been drafted. Two more workshops are scheduled for February 11, 2009, to discuss ideas and efforts for the proposed Project Area, as well as the results of the recent community-wide survey. The City has completed the Survey Report and Preliminary Plan (to be presented to City Council on January 27, 2009), and recently presented recommendations to the Planning Commission to remove part of the proposed survey area from the Project Area.
