What programs does the Endowment Association fund?
Lawrence Memorial Hospital Endowment Association s primary purpose is to provide support and funding to Lawrence Memorial Hospital through sources not available to the hospital itself. It is important to note that while LMH is a city-owned hospital, it is not funded in any way with city or county tax dollars. The hospital is self-supporting through the services it provides. However, Lawrence is a growing community with growing needs. The hospital requires help in expanding programs and services to meet the needs of the community. LMHEA s goal is to support and enhance the services currently offered by the hospital and to help the hospital grow as the needs of the community grow. The Endowment Association has aligned its strategic plan with that of the hospital so that support for new equipment, services and programs listed as priorities can be gained and the hospital can continue to grow.
