What programs are in place to ensure that lawyers have an appropriate work-life balance?
Today, there is greater emphasis on working to live, and not living to work. But while work-life balance has become something of a cliché, take a look at the lives of our lawyers and you will see we live it. We’re proud that the legal industry has recognized Foley Hoag for our efforts to ensure this balance, especially The American Lawyer “A-List” and Working Mother. We recognize that parenting and work-family balance issues are not faced exclusively by women, and Foley Hoag offers all lawyers a combination of paid and unpaid parental leave, a dependent care assistance plan and access to an emergency day care center. We also offer a flexible reduced work schedule policy to assist our lawyers who are raising children or caring for family members.
