Gas and electric companies also have programs available which are funded by stockholders and customer contributions to help those who need financial help with their energy bills. In addition, counties and community action agencies also may offer various kinds of assistance. You can find out about what is available in your area by contacting the Nevada Welfare Division or a local social service agency.
