The new building contains 11 floors of research laboratories divided among numerous programs (Cancer Center, Microbial Pathogenesis, Medicine, Cardiovascular Biology, Neuroscience, Epithelial Cell Biology, and Genetics), a floor for a central glass wash facility and other shared and core facilities, a floor containing seminar rooms, a commons space at the courtyard level, and a Vivarium in the cellar.
