Different parts of CoGe use different languages, based on what works best and what language(s) a programmer knows. In no particular order: • Operating System • Some flavor of linux • Web Server • Apache • Database • MySQL (though CoGe has been ported to PostgreSQL) • Database API • Perl • Web-interface • HTML • Perl CGI • javascript • jquery • Flash (haXe) • Algorithms and other stuff. Note that many programs used by CoGe are written by other programmers (e.g.
