Does one need a separate programming language? Most ERP vendors provide a proprietary 4GL (Fourth Generation Language) to enhance the capability of their ERP core software. These include ABAP/4 from SAP and PL/SQL from Oracle. Many others also support standard programming languages like c & c++.
