What professional development will be available for staff moving into the SSCs?
A comprehensive induction and orientation program will be provided for all SSC staff to foster the development of each employee’s capabilities. The induction will be followed by both informal and formal professional learning, to give staff the confidence and skills necessary to undertake their new role. Training and development will be offered to staff transitioning to the Shared Service Centres, on topics including Building Shared Services, Processes & Information Systems, Customer Service, and Teambuilding. Supervisors and managers will also have access to professional development in such areas as leadership and teambuilding, contract management, and training trainers.
