What professional development does TWB offer in communities of conflict?
Like all other teachers, people who teach in communities of conflict deserve quality professional learning. Unlike most other teachers, people who teach in communities of conflict endure stresses that are impossible for others to fully understand; TWB is devoted to helping people who teach under such conditions find the peer support so crucial to helping them maintain their emotional and mental health, professional skills, and roles in their communities. To achieve that goal, TWB advances every Millennium Development Goal by offering three major areas of local and regional professional learning for people teaching in communities of conflict: Content/Subject Area Mastery Courses; Conferences; Leadership Development.
