What product is the most efficient and less costly to rid vegetable and flower gardens from grubs?
The grubs you find in your garden aren’t usually destructive. Most grubs feed exclusively on the roots of turf grass, so they shouldn’t feed on your vegetables. I wouldn’t necessarily want to treat them with insecticide, especially since you plan on eating the veggies. Your flower beds and your lawn are very treatable, however. If you want to, treat those with any product containing Merit (go to your local lawn/garden center. They each will carry their own product with Merit). It doesn’t matter if you put it down before or after you plant, but you want to put it down between now and mid-July for it to be effective and you only need to put it down once per season. Also, it needs to be watered in to activate, so get a 1/2 inch of water on it ASAP after putting it down. hope this helped you out 🙂 edit: read the info on milky spore carefully. It is true that it can work on some types of grubs, but it does not actually kill the Japanese beetle larvae, which is the more destructive one. Als
