What procurement opportunities should be reported in the APP? Should direct/select tender processes be included as well as open opportunities?
APPs are intended to draw potential suppliers’ early attention to significant procurement opportunities, particularly major projects, which agencies plan to tender for in the coming financial year. It should include procurements that are expected to be undertaken using a Select Tendering process. The subject matter of the procurement is described in the Description column of the APP. The wording for the summary of the planned procurement should be short and in plain English.
