What processes need to be refreshed after changing configuration files?
Only the standalone daemons need to be refreshed because they are always running and read the configurations when executed at boot time, The following processes have to be refreshed after changes are made to their respective configuration files. aproxy, httpd, smwrapd, webgate. The other proxies are executed only when called upon, tnproxy, ftproxy, and smwrap. There are a few caveats to this general idea. httpd reads the content filtering lists on the fly. Changes to smwrap.conf means refreshing smwrapd, but not smwrap.
