What process will be used to recruit NYU Abu Dhabi faculty?
NYU Abu Dhabi faculty are appointed with approval of the Provost of NYU and the Vice Chancellor of NYU Abu Dhabi, on the recommendation of NYU faculty. Initially, searches are being conducted by the academically relevant units at NYU in New York; once the initial faculty is built at NYU Abu Dhabi, appropriate procedures for appointing its standing faculty will be developed in conjunction with NYU New York. NYU Abu Dhabi will use the same standards that prevail at NYU to appoint faculty to NYU Abu Dhabi, including NYU’s academic and non-discrimination standards.
