What process was used by the boards to consider consolidation?

0

The districts have long considered consolidation and actually began the formal process of consolidating in March of 2008. The process for consolidation, as outlined by state law, requires that both districts first pass a resolution on the issue. As part of the resolution, the Montello and Westfield School Boards have both scheduled referendums for November 2nd. If the referendums pass in both districts, they will be consolidated and form a new district in July of 2011.
