What process is used to make handmade soaps and what are the benefits?

0

Our handmade soaps are created using a “cold process”. All the ingredients required to make the soap are mixed together, cut into individual bars and then left to sit and dry. Although this is a simplified explanation of the actual procedure, it is basically the same for all handmade soap making. The “cold process” method of soap making does not require the application of extreme temperatures, which can destroy some natural nutrients found in the oils. This allows the soap to provide maximum benefits to the skin. The downside of using this method is that much more time is required to “cure” the soap so it becomes mellow enough for use.
