What process does Eternal Documents use to turn my paper into digital images?
Eternal Documents ensures that the process of scanning your documents is orderly and secure. After Eternal Documents has inventoried and picked up your paper records, we prepare them for scanning. What that means is that we remove all paperclips and staples in order to create the highest quality scan possible. Post-it-notes are repositioned to ensure they do not cover any other text. The pages in each document is counted and noted if it is one sided or two sided. When we scan we also create an index, based on your input, of your documents so that you can quickly and easily retrieve them when you need to. The digital documents and the indexing is then returned to you for loading onto your network or desktop. At your request, Eternal Documents will keep a copy of the digital documents for disaster recovery purposes. If you’re wondering what happens to your original documents, we’re happy to perform a secure destruction of the records, or return them back to you upon completion of scannin
