All QESPRO Certified Solutions Specialists (CSS) are state certified. Before becoming certified, Solutions Specialists serve as an apprentice for one year. During this time, the Solutions Specialist works under the supervision of QESPRO Certified Solutions Specialist (CSS). After this period, the Solutions Specialist must pass a state-administered examination that certifies him or her to use industrial pesticides in that state.
