The NIH has continued to refine the existing evacuation and dismissal program for various emergency situations. In the event of an emergency that requires a dismissal from the NIH Bethesda campus, the Division of Emergency Preparedness and Coordination (DEPC) will provide dismissal information to the NIH community through a variety of communication methods including the ORS Information Line , global e-mails, DEPC website (http://ser.ors.od.nih.gov/preparedness.htm) and other relevant ORS website updates, direct contact with appropriate management and emergency response personnel, and the Highway Advisory Radio AM 1660 radio.
