(Rauf Shiekh) Once a tenant is in hand, the most urgent thing to do is to make a lease agreement. The agreement will be for eleven months and will be signed by two witnesses and an advocate. If the rent agreement exceeds the period of more than 11 months, it should be registered with Rent controller having jurisdiction over the said rented premises.
