What problems exist with microwave frequencies?
Very few problems exist with microwave frequencies. The technology is very well developed and the original telephone infrastructure used microwaves, and continues to do so today. With the advent of cellular services, the cost of components took a large dive, therefore making the costs extremely low. All microwave components meet FCC and IEEE standards for interoperation.
