It doesn’t matter what the area of research is the limitations of a case study are: it is a study of one. Drawing conclusions from one person may lead to false conclusions. That one person is not representative of that particular population. You must have a sample that has been randomly selected, and a larger sample to draw conclusions (in this case around 25). You are also limited to descriptive statistics…you cannot do anything with the data collected, no statistical analysis, other than describe one person. Hence, you can not make generalizations.
