What problems are recruitment agencies encountering in the current economic downturn?
From the recruitment agencies that I have as clients, I actually see that they are not suffering as much as one would think. A lot of employers will use a staffing agency with a “try before you buy” mentality rather than take the risk of hiring someone directly. The agencies will also generally pick up any benefit costs of the temporary worker, so that is a savings to the employer as well.
