Some files are not played in Real Player as these are not supported format in it, download VLC media player as it support almost all the formats as all the codecs are loaded in it to play audio, video, Window Media Player also do not support all the formats, when you click on the music file it should open itself to play, if it does not play then may be its default setting is disabled, set its setting to default, and if it support the format then it should play the music by clicking on the song it self
