What preventive care must now be covered?

0

The new coverage requirements for preventive care apply to all plans issued after March 23, 2010. For plans purchased or renewed on or after September 23, 2010, coverage for certain recommended preventive care and vaccinations without deductibles or co-pays must be provided. While Oregon law requires coverage of certain preventive services, such as mammograms, pelvic exams, prostate screenings, and colorectal cancer screenings, it does not currently require coverage without cost sharing.
