What president granted amnesty to 3 million illegals and said?
Reagan was the moron who signed the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act that granted 2.7 million illegals amnesty. Unfortunately, there were two parts of the bill he didn’t bother to enforce. He didn’t require employers to check the immigration status of their employees. And he didn’t toughen border security. Obviously, his Alzheimer’s was becoming a problem in his second term. He’s also the one that said “Deficits don’t matter” and lowered the top tax rate from 70% to 28%. Reagan is the cause for many of our problems.
