ENG 1010 English Composition (or transfer of college level English) MATH 1141 Applied Algebra and Mathematical Reasoning (or transfer of equivalent) BIO 1100 Introduction to Biological Chemistry (or transfer of equivalent) Eligibility for Chemistry 1300 (Sufficient score on chemistry placement test, or completion of Chem 1010) ESL Students/TOEFL Test: The ability to communicate verbally and in written form is basic to the provision of health services in a safe and effective manner. Therefore, any student placed in English as a Second Language (ESL) courses through the college’s ESL Assessment procedure (at the college Assessment Center) will be required to take and pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score in Reading 21, Listening 22, Writing 23 and Speaking 24.
