What prep work is involved before installing an overlay?
Prior to installing an overlay, the concrete must be pressure washed using a high psi pressure washer. By doing this, you remove all the dirt, debris, and mold that has accumulated on your concrete. In order to “open” the pores of the concrete, a mild acid wash, and neutralization process is done so the overlay material has more surface area to “grab” onto.
