Please consider the following: There are 13 preconferences scheduled for the 2002 National Service-Learning Conference in Seattle, Washington Wednesday March 20. The following highlight two of particular interest to current and future teachers and teacher education faculty. Please consider participating in one of these workshops and share this information with colleagues. “THE COURAGE TO TEACH – PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES OF TEACHER FORMATION” This workshop is for people who want to experience teacher formation practices that are part of the Courage to Teach program. The workshop is offered by the Center for Teacher Formation and will be led by Rick Jackson, the center’s co-director, and Yarrow Durbin, director of Washington State Courage to Teach.
