What, precisely, is the Turtles Asshat Magnet?
The Turtle plays best with people who don’t know him at all, or people who know him very well. People who don’t know him at all generally leave him alone to create world peace. People who know him very well know that the curse is powerful and can cause real effects, and thus they leave him alone. People who don’t know him well, but know him, want to make an example of beating him just to prove the curse doesn’t work. This is almost always due to the misunderstanding that the curse is for helping the Turtle win. It does not. It merely makes the person attacking the Turtle very unlikely to win the game. Therefore, when several of these people congregate, they team the turtle repeatedly or attack him selectively; thus asshatting him. This makes the Turtle quite an effective asshat magnet.
