What precautions must one take in the fabrication of iron rods?
Use the right levers and skilled labour fabrication. Follow the structural design completely. Every bend, hook, kink, and crank must be fabricated religiously. Clean excessively rusted surface with wire brush. Check the length of rods in columns for continuation of construction. Enough gaps must be left between the centring and the sides by using cover blocks to ensure that the rods get completely wrapped with cement concrete.
