What precautions have been taken to ensure the MyDaisyDuke is safe from unauthorized operation and dispenses ethanol safely?
The MyDaisyDuke is equipped with an electronic key lock pump and a mechanical hose locking apparatus to prevent unauthorized operation and tampering. It also has a motion sensor that will shut the unit down if it is moved during pump operation. Of course, like all other fuel filling stations, people should not use cigarettes, matches, lighters, electrical sparks or any other heat or flame sources anywhere near the pump and MyDaisyDuke unit. The MyDaisyDuke is non-combustible, meaning it doesn’t use flames during ethanol production.
