What precautions does Putney take to insure that students are safe?
Putneys programs are structured. Students dont go to another country and hang out. The great majority of their time is spent in group activities involving program leaders who are experienced travelers, and who know the local area. The leaders live with the students in the same accommodations. A leader is present during all evening activities. During brief periods of unstructured time during the day, students are encouraged to do some exploring on their own, but not by themselves.
