In Peru, Cusco is a very high elevation city. We will help you develop a plan to avoid altitude sickness. Few people have any problems with biting insects, or other stinging or biting organisms. You will want to take medication to prevent malaria. We provide complete details in our pre-departure kit. Peru, in the past, had a reputation for crime and unrest. This is now much less of a problem. Our guides will always advise you in advance of locations or situations to avoid or in which to be vigilant.
