What pre-event Biosafety related education and training is required?
In general ARS shall need to train all personnel on personal, workplace, and family protection protocols, and actions to take for each phase of a pandemic. Biosafety specific education could include, basic information on avian and human influenza viruses, Potential exposure routes of infection, the importance of good personal hygiene (i.e handwashing), information on Personal protective equipment, information on vaccines and other medical countermeasures if appropriate, information on disinfection and decontamination methods effective for influenza viruses.
