What pre-departure orientation and training is given?
After accepting a place on a project, volunteers receive a comprehensive set of briefings, each designed to pass on complementary information in the most effective manner, and all included in the cost of the project. • Your initial briefing is the interview, during which you have the opportunity to ask questions about Frontier and each project, as well as discussing project life, the work programme and fundraising ideas. • Applicants can secure the offer of a project place by paying (in most cases) a £200 deposit. Certain projects also require the completion and return of a booking form. You will then receive the following extensive briefing documents which will be provided in three stages timed up to your departure date, with comprehensive guidance notes given at each of the three stages. Stage 1 occurs when you have paid your deposit, stage 2 when you have paid your first instalment, normally 2 months before your departure date, and stage 3 when you have paid your second instalment,
