What power source can I use with the FISH WINCH electric fishing reel?

Our motors are 12V (DC) like most other electric fishing reels. A 12 volt car or boat battery is a good choice, however we use 12V (400 amp) portable jump starters (jump box). Some people like lawnmower batteries due to size, weight, and cost. (No battery chargers!
