What positive results has Childrens Rights obtained?
In states where Children’s Rights has intervened, the most recent available national data show improvements in critical areas including: 1. Rates of child fatalities from abuse and neglect have decreased to well below the national average in all but one state; 2. Spending per child in child welfare systems is higher than the national median in all but one state; 3. The percentage of children in foster care with the goal of adoption who are legally free for adoption is markedly higher than the national average; and 4. The number of caseworker positions has increased in all but one case. In addition, almost all Children’s Rights’ cases have produced significant, improved changes in management, which in itself usually produces better outcomes for children.
