The WSEX Poker Game Client uses ports 1111, 3333 and 3334 as target ports. This means that the WSEX Poker Game Client does not use port 1111 on the client side (your side), but tries to reach port 1111, 3333 and 3334 on the Poker Server. So, if there is any software or hardware such as a Firewall which may monitor and block “outgoing” packets “to” non-general ports, the blocking function MUST be turned OFF. Note: General ports are typically Port 80 (Web), Port 25 (e-mail), Port 110 (POP3), Port 21 (Telnet), etc. Some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have firewalls which block outgoing packets to non-general ports. In this case, you need to contact your ISP to check if they block any outgoing traffic. Windows TM 98 and 2000 do not have a Firewall built in and will let the WSEX Poker Game Client connect to the internet without any problems.
