What ports are open to ResNet through the campus firewall?
No incoming ports are open through the campus firewall by default. Port 80 (HTTP) is the only port that can be opened by request. You can request this port opened to run a webserver. If you would like port 80 opened for your computer, please use the form at https://scan.tamu.edu/resnet/. You must provide your NetID and password. For more information on the campus firewall specifically affecting ResNet, see ResNet Network Restrictions. Most outgoing ports are open by default through the firewall.
