Ok plastics are polymers, this means that every product in your home that is made of plastic (unless you live in a greenhouse there will be a lot of plastic around you home, even if not visible directly), there are also many different types of polymers, from polyamides, to polyesters and all of the many varieties within each polymer “group”. Some simple examples, food cotainers, clingfilm for example, just look in your kitchen at the plastic and you should find at least five different types. Kevlar is also a polymer supprisingly, polystyrene (styrofoam), the boxes of games and DVDs, maybe your desk has a sort of plastic/wood effect surface which will be a plastic, if your house has PVC windows that is a polymer, if you have any small children or some old toys lying around they will be polymers of some sort.
