Parliament is not the Government. Let’s nip that in the bud right now. Constitutionally Parliament is supreme and there is absolutely no way that the Government can overturn a decision by Parliament without another vote in the House of Commons. That won’t be forthcoming as the House does not like to be told it’s wrong by the Government. I’m glad to see that the House is finally growing a pair.
