Papercut is correct, except that for the price difference I’d use 5/8″ OSB. It’s not much more per sheet then 7/16″, and it’s still cheaper than 1/2″ plywood. Be sure to get the proper sized H-Clips. They are needed for spacing and strength. Hope this helps.
