What platforms is DACS available for?
DACS releases are tested and officially supported on recent versions of GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X, and Solaris, that use 32- and 64-bit Intel/AMD processors. Development is primarily done on FreeBSD 7.x, and testing is done on FreeBSD 7.x, FreeBSD 8.x, CentOS 5.4 (built from Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5), Mac OS X 10.6.2 (x86), and OpenSolaris (SunOS 5.11, x86). While DACS should build and work on (or be easily ported to) other POSIX-compliant platforms, we can only support those platforms that are available to us for testing. Limited testing is done with Cygwin. Although DACS is being used on Solaris 8 and 10 SPARC platforms, those platforms are not officially supported. DACS works with recent versions of Apache 2.0 and 2.2 (but not with Apache 1.3 or IIS).

Solaris (specifically, OpenSolaris (SunOS 5.11, x86)) is no longer officially supported, although limited testing is still done on that platform.
