Supported platforms depend on the interface used to communicate with the INSTEON network. Smarthome’s PowerLinc Controller (USB and Serial) and PowerLinc Modem (Serial) support any platform that can communicate with either a serial or USB port. Additionally, several INSTEON manufacturers have released IP interfaces.
