For v1.1.1 the formal test platforms were HP-9000/PA-RISC under HP-UX 11i, and Intel/x86 under SuSE Linux. According to NIST/CSE the validation will also apply to any other platform for which the libraries are simply recompiled without source modifications. Since OpenSSL already has a portable design, this means a large number of platforms. Only the Intel/x86 case utilizes code not included in the HP-9000/PA-RISC test; the Intel/x86 platform test covers that platform specific source.
