What plants to grow in patio year round?
Most of the vegetables you mentioned probably won’t grow in your area year round. They like warmth so you might only be able to grow them from late spring through summer–unless you have access to a greenhouse or can make a plastic greenhouse out of clear plastic. You might want to plant them from seed now and keep them indoors until mid-may, then pot them outside. In winter, you should be able to grow cole vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, kale, etc. If you want something that you can keep all year long, try a dwarf fruit tree. It will go dormant when winter comes, but will come back in spring. Your area should grow Apples, Cherries, Pears, Quinces and things like that pretty good because of the cold winter.
