It is planned to offer applicants the opportunity to take part in a “mock auction” soon after the Application Date. We would give participants fictitious scenarios on which to base their bidding, they would bid without revealing their real identities to other bidders and additionally some of the bidders would be plants provided by the organiser. The purpose would be to familiarise participants with the process of the auction not to provide bidding strategy tuition.
